( 29910 ) Segre is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 14 May 1999 of Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory (IAU code 684) in Arizona.
The asteroid was named after the Italian mathematician Corrado Segre (1863-1924), who was professor of geometry at the University of Turin in 1888 and put his main focus on the Algebraic Geometry.
