2nd Annual Grammy Awards
1960 was awarded for the second time, the American Music Award Grammy. There were 34 awards awarded at the Grammy Awards in 1960, six more than at the premiere. In the coming years it should all be around the 40 award categories. As a new, fourteenth field of folk music came about.
