2NE1

2NE1 (Korean: 투 애니원; pronounced like the English " to anyone " or "twenty -one" ( twenty-one ) ) is a South Korean girl group record company YG Entertainment. Her debut single "Fire " was released on May 6, 2009.

The band's name stands for " New Evolution of the 21st Century." So far the band has 424 million clicks on YouTube.

History

In January 2009 it was announced that the record label YG Entertainment in July will introduce a new girl group, with the same style as the Big Bang, with three members: CL, Park Bom and Minzy. Later, a spokesman for the record company was known, however, that Dara will join the group.

Finally, the first song by 2NE1 (along with Big Bang ) called " Lollipop" was released on 27 March 2009. This song LG mobile campaigned for her new Cyon. The song reached in several online charts the first place and was, among other things four weeks in a row the number 1 in the online charts of the TV channel M.Net.

The single " Fire" was released on May 6, 2009 in two different versions ( "Space" - and " Street " version). The video reached within a day more than a million views.

The group was awarded three Cyworld Digital Music among other awards for "Lollipop ", " Fire" as "Song of the Month" and also received the " Rookie of the Month" in May 2009. Moreover, the singers model of 2NE1 for Fila.

First Mini - Album

On the day of publication, sold the first mini - album of 2NE1 more than 50,000 times.

Controversy

Sony Music expressed plagiarism allegations against 2NE1 of the song " I Do not Care " concerning who should have much resemblance to Lionel Richie's " Just Go ".

Minzy

  • Date of Birth: January 18, 1994

She is the granddaughter of the famous Korean dancer Gong Ok- jin.
