( 3041 ) Webb is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 15 April 1980 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station (IAU code 688 ) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County.
The asteroid was named after the Australian clergyman and amateur astronomer Thomas William Webb - named, who was best known as the author of the 1859 published observation guide Celestial Objects for Common Telescopes (1807, 1885 ).
