(317 ) Roxane is an asteroid of the main asteroid belt, which was discovered on 11 September 1891 by Auguste Charlois at Nice Observatory.

Roxane moves at a distance of 2.1 ( perihelion ) to 2.5 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 3.5 years of the sun. The orbit is inclined 1.8 ° to the ecliptic, the orbital eccentricity is 0.09.

Roxane has a diameter of 16 kilometers. The asteroid has a very bright surface with an albedo of 0.49 and rotates in about 8 hours and 10 minutes around its own axis.
