( 3220 ) Murayama is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 22 November 1951 by the French astronomer Marguerite Laugier at Nice. It is not known what the name of the asteroid was derived.

Measurements of light curves of asteroids led to the suspicion that it might be here to a double asteroid system. Accordingly, the asteroid would be in around 13.14 hours orbited by a companion. The ratio of the diameters of the two bodies is estimated to be 0.4.,
