( 3294 ) Carlvesely is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on September 24, 1960 as part of the Palomar - Leiden survey by the Dutch research team Cornelis Johannes van Houten, Ingrid van Houten - Groeneveld and Tom Gehrels.
The asteroid is named after the American astronomer Carl D. Vesely.
