- December 25: The youngest son of Emperor Constantine Flavius Julius Constans is appointed as his brethren to Caesar.
- In Cyprus, Calocaerus raises the Great against the Roman Emperor Constantine.
- Flavius Dalmatius, the half brother of Emperor Constantine gets the title of censor. The office was abolished in the year 96 the Roman Empire.

- A Christian pilgrim embarks on the journey from Bordeaux to Jerusalem and keeps his distance in a travel guide, the itinerary Burdigalense fixed. It is the oldest still- surviving description of a pilgrimage.
