( 3357 ) Tolstikov is an asteroid of the outer main belt, which on 21 March 1984 by the Czech astronomer Antonín Mrkos on Kleť Observatory (IAU code 046) was discovered in Český Krumlov.

The asteroid is part of the Eos family, a group of asteroids, which typically have semi-major axes from 2.95 to 3.1 AE, bounded on the inside of the Kirkwood gap in the 7:3 resonance with Jupiter, and orbital inclinations between 8 ° and 12 degrees. The group is named after the asteroid (221 ) Eos. It is believed that the family was created over one billion years ago by a collision. After FORMING classification (Small Main -Belt Asteroid Spectroscopic Survey) is assumed in a spectroscopic investigation of Gianluca Masi, Sergio Foglia and Richard P. Binzel at ( 3357 ) Tolstikov from a bright surface, it could be so grossly seen to act an S- asteroids.

( 3357 ) Tolstikov is named after the Soviet polar explorer Yevgeny Tolstikov. Antonín Mrkos had participated in the International Geophysical Year in 1957/58 at the 3rd Soviet Antarctic Expedition, which was led by Tostikow. A total of three years had Mrkos and Tostikow worked together in the Mirny Station on the Antarctic coast of the Davissee. The appointment was made by the International Astronomical Union ( IAU) on 26 February 1994.
