( 3426 ) Seki is one of the main asteroid belt, by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg State Observatory king chair ( IAU code 024) was discovered near Heidelberg on February 5, 1932.

The asteroid was named after the Japanese astronomer Tsutomu Seki (* 1930) identified, tracked the 1961-1970 six comets with visual methods.
