(349) Dembowska is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on December 9, 1892 by Auguste Charlois in Nice.
The asteroid was named after Ercole Dembowski, an Italian astronomer with Polish ancestors who made particularly outstanding services to the study of binary systems.
