35 Hudson Yards

35 Hudson Yards (also known under the name of E Tower and Equinox Tower ) is a skyscraper located in- planning in New York City.

The project was presented to the public for the first time in summer 2011. The tower is located on the so-called Hudson Yards - a district in the far west of Manhattan. The name derives from the Hudson River, which marks the western edge of the island of Manhattan. The street address is 11th Avenue and West 30th Street. Currently (as of end of 2013 ) is here a huge complex of buildings created, similar to the World Trade Center.

The E Tower is conceived as a residential and hotel tower. He is said to be 305 feet tall and have 79 floors. He would rank among the tallest buildings in New York. It was designed by the famous architect of skyscrapers David Childs, who works for the internationally renowned architectural firm SOM. The 250 residential units (spread over 21 floors ) should be luxurious. A total of 150 hotel units will be built, which will also offer these supreme luxury. A big Grand Plaza is located at the foot of the tower. Also said to have a huge Equinox Fitness Club extend to over three floors, including a custom basketball Platzs and swimming pool. It is discussed to further the establishment of a sky lounge and a banquet hall.

The construction of 35 Hudson Yards is scheduled to begin by 2015 and be completed in 2018.
