( 3540 ) Protesilaos is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 3540 ) Protesilaos was discovered on 27 October 1973 by the German astronomer frankness Börngen. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L4.
