The 35th National Hockey League All-Star Game was held on February 8, 1983 in Uniondale, New York. The match took place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the venue of the host New York Islanders. The All-Stars of the Campbell Conference defeated the Prince of Wales Conference clearly with 9:3. The game saw 15,230 spectators. Wayne Gretzky of the Edmonton Oilers was named the MVP.
