Reviews

" A firework of ideas gives us Erkau André, a graduate of the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne, in his experimental comedy" 37 without onions. " The film tells a life like in the movie. For many a dream, for Luke Knispe but bitter reality. Because Luke slithers through the jump cuts of his life from one situation to the next. His efforts to get back in harmony with yourself and the time ends in a mess. The screenplay is about the rediscovery of slowness is intelligently built, conclusive written - with a good end - and full of refined details. The jury was impressed by the successful dialogues, the taut drama and the imaginative transitions in history. "

" We decided for a short film that tells a humorous story with shiny guided actors. The director reaches excitatory sovereignty in his play with the cinematic vertigo. Never predictable the film takes us on an absurd journey. Unexplained basic philosophical questions of humanity as the ratio of space and time, memory and reality are finally treated in 14 minutes. "

" Staged a major topic with a light hand. André Erkau has a serious problem, namely the self-alienation in our western society, says fast-paced with a lot of charm and wit. In addition, this film draws from an excellent actor leadership. "

" " 37 without onion " (the film title is a plausible explanation ) is not only witty and often very funny conversation. The formally exciting and highly intelligent short film succeeds in an obvious metaphor for the acceleration of time in today's world of work and for the sense of time of employees. "
