( 373) Melusina is an asteroid of the outer main asteroid belt, which was discovered on 15 September 1893 by Auguste Charlois at the observatory in Nice and named after the legendary figure of Melusina.

Melusina moves at a distance of 2.7 ( perihelion ) to 3.6 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 5.5 years of the sun. The orbit is inclined 15.4 ° to the ecliptic, the orbital eccentricity is 0.15.

Melusina has a diameter of 96 kilometers. It is a C-type asteroid with a dark surface (albedo 0.04). In about 13 hours it rotates around its own axis.
