( 3793 ) Leonteus is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 3793 ) Leonteus was discovered on 11 October 1985 by the American astronomer Jean Carolyn Spellman Shoemaker. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L4.

Is named the asteroid after the mythological Greek warrior Leonteus who fought in the Trojan War.
