3rd arrondissement of Lyon
The 3rd arrondissement is an arrondissement ( district) of the French city of Lyon. 2008, there were 92 366 people.
The district lies in the eastern part of the metropolitan area of Lyon. To the north it borders on the 6th arrondissement, on the east by Villeurbanne, in the south to the 8th district, in the southwest to the 7th arrondissement and on the west to the 2nd arrondissement.
It consists of the following neighborhoods (French Quarter ):
- La Préfecture
- La Guillotière ( partial)
- La Part -Dieu
- La Villette
- Dauphiné - Sans Souci
- Mont Chat
- Grange Blanche ( partial)
