( 4060 ) Deipylos is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 4060 ) Deipylos was discovered on 17 December 1987 by Eric Walter Elst and Guido Pizarro. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L4.

Named the asteroid after a mythological Greek hero figure.
