(432 ) Pythia is an asteroid of the inner main asteroid belt, which was discovered on December 18, 1897 at the Observatory of Nice on the French astronomer Auguste Charlois.

The name comes from the name of the Pythian priestess at the Oracle of Delphi (see Pythia ).

Pythia moves at a distance of 2.022 ( perihelion ) to 2.717 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 3.65 years of the sun. The orbit is inclined 12,132 ° to the ecliptic, the orbital eccentricity is 0.147.

Pythia has a diameter of 47 kilometers. In about 0,344 days to rotate around its own axis.
