( 4394 ) Fritz Heath is a main belt asteroid that on March 2, 1981 as part of the UK Schmidt -Caltech Asteroid Survey of scolding John bus from the Siding Spring observatory was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the German mineralogist Fritz von der Heide ( 1891-1973 ).
