( 4708 ) Polydorus is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 4708 ) Polydorus was discovered on 11 September 1988 by the American astronomer Jean Carolyn Spellman Shoemaker. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L5.

Is named the asteroid after the mythological Trojan prince Polydorus.
