4th arrondissement of Lyon

The 4th arrondissement is an arrondissement ( district) of the French city of Lyon. 2008, there were 35,007 people.

The district lies in the northern part of the metropolitan area of Lyon. In the east it is bounded by the Rhône, in the west of the Saône. To the north it borders on Caluire -et -Cuire, east to the 6th arrondissement, in the south to the 1st arrondissement and in the west by the 9th arrondissement.

It consists of the following neighborhoods (French Quarter ):

  • Croix- Rousse ( partial)
  • Serine Gillet
  • Le Gros Caillou
