4U 0614 091 is about 3,000 parsecs ( 10,000 light years) distant, low-mass X-ray binary star. He is a source of X-ray bursts of a few seconds to a few minutes duration, repeated at irregular intervals of typically months to years. It consists of a so-called compact and non-compact component. It is assumed that the compact component is a neutron star accretes matter from a companion. Its nature is not clear, but there are indications that it is a white dwarf.
