(511 ) Davida is an asteroid of the outer main asteroid belt, which was discovered on May 30, 1903 by Raymond Smith Dugan. The asteroid is named after the U.S. American astronomer David Peck Todd.

Davida moves at a distance of 2.58 ( perihelion ) to 3.76 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 5,638 years of the sun. The orbit is inclined 15.94 ° to the ecliptic, the orbital eccentricity is 0.186.

With an average diameter of about 323 km Davida is one of the largest asteroids of the main belt. It has a dark carbonaceous surface with an albedo of 0.054. In approximately 5 hours and 8 minutes to rotate around its own axis.

2002 recordings of Davida were created on Keck Observatory using adaptive optics, which show an irregular body.
