October 552 ( or early 553? ): A two-day Battle of Mons Lactarius (milk mountain, near Naples) between the Ostrogoths and the Oströmern, win the battle. Teja falls, surrender the Ostrogothic troops, only few are there in the sequence ( up to 555 ) or resistance activities. In fact, however, the battle marked the end of the Ostrogothic Empire and the Gothic wars of Justinian.
The East Romans conquered the Visigoth kingdom of the southern Algarve coast between Cartagena and including the city of Corduba. The area is organized as a province of Spania.
