( 5552 ) Studnicka is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 16 September 1982 by Czech astronomer Antonín Mrkos at the observatory on the Kleť.

It was named on a proposal by Jana Ticha and Martin Šolc by František Josef Studnička, a mathematics professor and astronomer at the Charles University in Prague.
