  • After the death of the Lydian king Alyattes II from the Mermnadae dynasty, his son Croesus passes as a successor to the throne.
  • Nebuchadnezzar II died in his 43rd year of reign. He is followed by his son Amel -Marduk ( accession year ). Amel - Marduk's first regnal year begins on 1 Nisannu 561 BC
  • In the Bible it is described that Amel -Marduk pardoned in his accession year on 27 Addaru ( March 26 to 27 ) King Jehoiachin from the kingdom of Judah in the 37th year since his deportation to Babylon led ( 2 Kgs 25.27 EU).
