The 58th National Hockey League All-Star Game took place on 30 January 2011 at the RBC Center, the home arena of the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, North Carolina instead.

Choice of participants
The first six participating players for the All -Star Game were determined by Fanvotum. Sidney Crosby could unite the most for with 635 509 votes and was elected along with his teammates from the Pittsburgh Penguins, Evgeni Malkin namely, Kristopher Letang and Marc -Andre Fleury. The duo of the Chicago Blackhawks, Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith, completed the six participating by Fanvotum players.
The remaining 36 players for the All-Star Game were determined by the National Hockey League and, jointly announced with twelve rookies who attended the Honda NHL Super Skills 29 January 2011 January 11, 2010.
