Eastern Front

The 5th Cavalry Division was a major unit of the German army and was formed as part of the mobilization at the beginning of the First World War.

Battle calendar

First, the Division has been used on the Western Front and moved the end of October 1914 the Eastern Front. There they remained even after the Treaty of Brest -Litovsk and was finally dissolved on 4 April 1918.

1914
