60 metres
The 60- yard dash is a sprint discipline that is run mainly in the hall. It will be held exclusively on a straight line, each runner must stay in his own journey from start to finish. Is started in the crouch start using starting blocks.
In the Hall of the 60 - yard dash is the shortest route, which is run in the championships. At the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1900 and 1904 in St. Louis, the 60- meter race was an Olympic sport.
The best men reach a time just under 6.50 seconds, the best women just under 7 seconds.
