(6009) Yuzuruyoshii

( 6009 ) Yuzuruyoshii is an asteroid of the inner main belt, the American astronomer from the Eleanor Helin at Palomar Observatory (IAU code 675) was discovered in California on March 24, 1990. Unconfirmed sightings of the asteroid it had already given on 26 April 1952 ( 1952 HE3 ) at the McDonald Observatory in Texas, and on 27 November 1957 ( 1957 WJ1 ) at the Goethe Link Observatory, Indiana.

The orbit of the asteroid around the Sun is highly inclined with more than 22 ° to the ecliptic of the solar system.

( 6009 ) Yuzuruyoshii is named after Yuzuru Yoshii, the director of the Institute for Astronomy of the University of Tokyo. The appointment was made on October 29, 2012.
