(6231) Hundertwasser

( 6231 ) Hundertwasser is an asteroid of the inner main belt, which on 20 March 1985 by the Czech astronomer Antonín Mrkos on Kleť Observatory (IAU code 046) was discovered in Český Krumlov.

The asteroid is named after the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The appointment was made on a proposal from the Czech astronomer Jana Ticha by the International Astronomical Union ( IAU) on 23 May 2000.
