( 6522 ) Aci is an asteroid of the main belt, which by the astronomer Eleanor Helin U.S. at Palomar Observatory (IAU code 675) was discovered on July 9, 1991.

The asteroid was named after the south-east of the volcano Etna famous ancient river Akis, whose position because of various volcanic eruptions can not be exactly determined today.
