  • The 23th year of the Assyrian king Sennacherib ( 682-681 BC): Assyrian scribe record the total lunar eclipse of 20-21. January ( 15 Šabatu; Šabatu the 1st falls on the January 6 to 7 ). The partial phase begins around 23:00 local time clock and ends around 3:00 clock local time.
  • Proclamation of the intercalary month Addaru, which starts on March 6.
  • In the Babylonian calendar, the Babylonian New Year the first Nisannu fell to the fifth - sixth April, the full moon in Nisannu on the 17th - 18th April 1st Du'uzu to the 2nd - 3rd July, the full moon in Du'uzu on the 15th - 16th July and the first Tašritu on the 29th - 30th September.
