6th Chess Olympiad
The 6th Chess Olympiad took place from 16 to 31 August 1935 in Warsaw ( Poland).

It was attended by 20 teams that determined the Olympic champion in a round-robin tournament. Germany this time was not represented. 99 players took part in the competition. The team tournament was played with four teams, where a replacement player was allowed. The officers' mess of the garrison in Warsaw was the venue.
Head of the organizing committee was Bronisław Nakoniecznikoff - Klukowski from Poland. As tournament director Dawid Przepiórka served from Poland. The cooling-off period was two hours for 36 moves, then one hour for each 18 moves. The rankings were due to the board points (BP ), Team Points ( MP), number of wins ( ), direct comparison, Berger system and coin toss decided.
