78violet (from 2002-2009: Aly & AJ) is an American pop music duo from Torrance, consisting of the brothers and sisters Alyson Renae Michalka " Aly " Michalka and Amanda Joy " AJ ". They are also songwriters and actresses who began their career at Disney.
