79 Ceti

79 Ceti is a subgiant of his planet, 79 Ceti b all 75.56 days is encircled. The star has a spectral class of G5IV and a mass of 1.0 solar masses.

Discovery of the planet

Like many other exoplanets was also 79 Ceti b discovered using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 2000.

Circulation and mass of the planet

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 0.35 astronomical units and has a mass of about 82.65 Earth masses and 0.26 Jupiter masses. Its radius is estimated to 55,000 km.
