Frankish Empire

  • Pepin (son of Charlemagne ) conquered for the second time (after 795), the main castle ( " ring " ) of the Avars, they plundered before making it to the ground. The Khagan of the Avars Pippin undergo, at the Danube. The remaining Avars who do not submit, withdraw beyond the Theiss.
  • Renewed riots of the Saxons against the Frankish rule.

British Isles
