80000 Shots

80000 Shots is a German documentary film by Manfred Walther ( born July 17, 1961 † 1 March 2011), which was published in 2002. It has a length of 53 minutes.

The film shows in time-lapse change of the Berlin Potsdamer Platz for a period of ten years from 1990 to 2000. He begins the breakdown of the last frontier fortifications and shows the growth of a whole new part of the city, the projects of Daimler Chrysler debis and Sony at Potsdamer Platz. The viewer receives new insights into processes and developments.

2002 caught the film at the Berlinale for his unusual technique, his film music and the type of documentation urban development over a long period of attention.
