972 Magazine is a company founded in August 2010 E- Zine of bloggers collective, the "Independent commentary and news from Israel and Palestine." It was named after the UN country code for Israel and the Palestinian territories.

Larry Derfner, a former editorial writer for the Jerusalem Post and correspondent for U.S. News and World Report, one of his regular commentators. It is funded by the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
