9th Annual Grammy Awards
The musical achievements of 1966 were honored on March 2, 1967, at the ninth award of its kind with the U.S. Grammy.
In 15 different fields a total of 42 awards were presented at the Grammy Awards 1967. After three male winners was the jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald for the first time a woman honored for her life's work.
