Laut.de finds that the music similar to cold, aseptic, also a short distance calculated acts like the cover. The album will be compared thanks to producer Josh Abraham with Linkin Park and Velvet Recorder: Pathetic rock, presented clean, even edges and corners are set apparently targeted. Also CDstarts.de praised the production of the album: That "A Beautiful Lie" still ignites lies on the once more flawless production, for which Josh Abraham, who already pushed for Linkin Park 's controls, may pat on the back. The hidden track has been described as very expendable and the cover version of Hunter as unnecessary. In total, 6.5 out of 10 points vergeben.Allmusic.com awarded 2 stars out of 5.
The album sold in its first week in the United States 21,000 times. So far, there has been sold around 1.2 million times.
