A Drama in the Air

A drama in the air is a short story by the French writer Jules Verne. She appeared in August 1851 under the French title La science en famille. Un voyage en ballon. The French narrator waits for the former theater space ( today Rathenau Square) of Frankfurt am Main in vain for three city councilors who wanted to participate in his hot air balloon ride.
