A History of Britain (TV series)

A History of Britain is a documentary series by the BBC by Simon Schama. Aired from October 2000 to June 2002, it contains 15 parts, spread over 3 seasons. The author Simon Schama received much praise for his sympathetic and often poignant, but never overbearing kind of moderation. The series has also been published in book form in three volumes. The Complete Series on DVD has become the best-selling DVD documentary series the BBC.
