Reviews

  • Movie service: "In these " fragments of a 1964 starring film, " Godard's aim is to make the world in the sense of semiotics as a language consciously, as a sign system that needs to decrypt it. Images, words, music and sounds are combined seemingly random, but refer to in everyday life hardly conscious perceptual manipulations that control human behavior. "
  • Heyne Movie Encyclopedia (1996 ): "The " fragment of a 1964 starring film " ( Godard ) is a brilliant essay on perceptions and (self - ) deception in everyday life. "
