A-Musik

A music from Cologne is a record store and record label for experimental music, which was founded in 1995 by Georg Odijk.

In the first ten years of its existence, the label released, although only 28 recordings ( and four Maxis on the sub-label Seven ), but could affect stylistic influence, especially in times of Sound of Cologne to the mid-1990s with these.

After moving the business in a different part of town was lost before the close spatial connection to the Cologne techno scene. To celebrate its tenth anniversary in August 2005 wrote the weekly newspaper Die Zeit of A- Music as "Germany bestsortiertem record store " with about 30,000 titles worldwide agierend.

Important artists, published partly in collaborations on A-Musik, are Markus Popp ( Oval ), Jan St. Werner ( Mouse on Mars), Schlammpeitziger, FX Randomiz, Marcus Schmickler and Wolfgang Müller.
