A Night at the Movies is a comedic American short film from the year 1937.

Action

A married couple decides to go to the movies. They study the newspaper looking for interesting films. It turns out that every cinema in the city offering double performances, the couple knows one or the other movie already. Since the husband has free tickets, they seek out a movie theater and drive off. However, the husband forgets the free tickets in the car and shows instead that the parking ticket. Therefore, there are some problems until the couple is finally allowed into the screening room.

Finally, the two sitting in their cinema seats when the husband gets a coughing fit. The other viewers are upset, so the husband goes to the lobby. As he gets better, he wants to go back again, but he takes the wrong door and find yourself on a stage again, surrounded by showgirls who give their demonstration break between films.
