A Rocket to the Moon was an American rock band from Massachusetts.

Band History

A Rocket to the Moon was launched in 2006 as a solo project of Nick Santino rock musician from Braintree, Massachusetts. After several independent releases, he got a record deal with the label Fueled by Ramen. For his performances, he formed a band, with whom he recorded the debut album On Your Side. It was released on 12 October 2009 and made it straight into the U.S. charts.

A year later, the EP The Rainy Day Sessions, which contains five album title in a re-recording with the female Countryduo Larkin Poe appeared. With the EP- song Like We Used To, the band had a hit in the U.S. Hot 100

On 2 October 2012, the EP That Old Feeling, on which are four new songs the band seemed to hear. Among them is published on August 21, 2012 Whole Lotta Love You. The second studio album, Wild & Free was released in January 2013. After a short tour under the name One Last Night in the summer of 2013, and a recent EP broke up the band.
