A Young Doctor's Notebook (TV series)

A Young Doctor 's Notebook is a British mini-series of the channel Sky Arts, which will be broadcast since 6 December 2012, and based on a novel by Russian author Mikhail Bulgakov. The series takes place in 1918, shortly before the Russian Revolution and acts of the doctor Vladimir Bomgard ( Daniel Radcliffe ), which pulls in the province and there under the critical eye of his older self (Jon Hamm ) has to cope with everyday life.

Action

The young doctor Vladimir Bomgard ( Daniel Radcliffe ) takes after completion of medical studies at the University of Moscow in a small village in whose area he is the only doctor. His problem is that he has acquired all his knowledge from books, but is now faced with the harsh reality. Furthermore, the young doctor must fight against his morphine addiction. All these situations he has to cope under the supervision of his older self (Jon Hamm ).

The first season of the series, which consists of four episodes, aired between the 6th and 27th December 2012. In July 2013, the renewal for a second season, which aired from 21 November to 12 December 2013, on Sky Arts was.

After the RTL Group had acquired the broadcast rights already in February 2013, this beamed the first season of the show on 16 and 23 January 2014 on the pay- TV channels passion in double episodes.
